Wantable Intimates Box - June 2014

03 July 2014

I'm always so excited to receive my Wantable box, and this month definitely didn't disappoint. I think I'm going to have to make some changes to my questionnaire though, as I'm receiving too many tank tops!

The first item out of my box was this slouchy t-shirt from Pima Apparel. This is worth $18, and it feels like a nice comfy tee to just chill out at home in. My specifications on Wantable state that I am a medium as I'm quite busty, but this is absolutely huge on me. The neck is extremely wide and I can see it falling down a lot.

Also from Pima Apparel was this gorgeous tank. Again, this is a medium and it is really long! I think I'll probably be able to wear this as a nightdress, I love the colour! It's a gorgeous turquoise shade, and retails for $12.

This babydoll is the sauciest thing I have ever received from Wantable! It's lovely though, the lace is especially gorgeous and it had a matching thong thrown in. Not something I'd necessarily have picked out for myself, but I do kind of love it! This retails for $30.

The final item in my box was this cute pair of knickers. Again, these aren't something I'd have picked for myself as I usually tend to steer clear of animal prints, but I actually really like them! They're super comfy too. These retail for $8.

All in all, another great box from Wantable! I always love what I get sent and I really love the detailed questionnaire that makes it easier to receive things you'll actually like. I've definitely not been disappointed so far!

Wantable Intimates Box - May 2014

09 June 2014

I've been eagerly anticipating my next Wantable since we came back from Corfu! I received an email while we were away to let me know that it had been dispatched, and after that I couldn't stop checking the parcel tracker to find out where my box was!

The box felt quite heavy when I eventually received it, and I couldn't wait to see what was inside! The first item I spotted was this cute green pyjama top from St Eve. Like an idiot I accidentally threw away the piece of paper that lists how much everything is worth, so I can't say the overall value of the box or the individual items, but I think this is a great sized product to receive in the box, and it's super comfy too!

I also got these cute socks from K Bell. In the pack there are 10 individual socks in different colours and patterns, and they are BRIGHT. The yellow ones in particular kind of hurt my eyes if I look at them for too long! I kind of love them though, these are great for summer!

These boy shorts are Wantable's own design, and they are so comfy! I wore them over the weekend and couldn't believe the comfiness. The design is really cute too, I love the pink stripes!

I also got some more saucy undies in the form of these gorgeous teal knickers. These were labelled as being worth $22 which is pretty good going. They're gorgeous and I love them.

The final item in my box were these liners. I've never tried anything like this before, normally just wearing shoes with bare feet in summer doesn't bother me, but I'm definitely willing to give them a try. They're quite pretty but they do feel a bit odd! It might be something I have to get used to.

Overall, I've been really impressed by Wantable again. I love the surprise element to the boxes, and even though I wouldn't have necessarily picked out some of these items for myself, there are some lovely things to try out!

Wantable Intimates Box - April 2014

08 May 2014

I've seen a few Wantable boxes floating around on my dash recently and have been really impressed by the contents. I decided to have a look for myself, and I'm really glad I did!

Wantable is an American subscription box service that provides three different types of boxes. Make up, accessories, and intimates. When you initially sign up and choose the type of box you want (you could order all three if you wanted!) you are given a questionnaire to complete, detailing what you love, like, and dislike. You never receive anything that you dislike, and are more likely to receive things you love. If you subscribe, the boxes cost $36 a month (with postage, this works out at about £30) or if you just buy a one off box, they're $40 a month. I decided to try out the intimates box as I already subscribe to two beauty boxes, and who doesn't love cute undies?!

First of all, the packaging is adorable. The box is small (not small enough to fit through a letter box though!) and discreet. I had it delivered to my home address as I wasn't sure about the packaging, but I needn't have worried. Next time I'll have it delivered to work!

The box comes with sheet of paper listing the items you've been sent, and how much they are worth individually. It also lists your preferences from the questionnaire at the top of the page. When filling out the questionnaire, it asks you your sizing for various items. It's worth taking into account that American sizes are different from UK sizes, but having ordered from the US before I felt fairly happy with the decisions I made size-wise. I tried to avoid anything that I felt wouldn't fit, as I have quite a large chest. The questionnaire unsurprisingly didn't list my bra size as an option, so I decided to steer clear of the soft bras! I also wasn't sure what size shapewear I would be when converting UK to US, so I decided to dislike that as well.

Onto the contents! The first thing I pulled out of the box was this Rhonda Shear camisole. This is definitely not the sort of thing I would usually pick out for myself, and initially I was a little bit disappointed by it. Upon trying it on though, WOWZA! It has amazing support, feels really comfortable, and actually looks really nice. I'm not what I'll wear it with/under, but I'm sure I'll find something! According to the sheet of paper that came with the order, this is worth $39.99, which means this cami essentially covers the price of the box.

The next item to catch my eye were these amazing sleep shorts! These are Betsey Johnson, and retail for around $29.99. Leopard print is not the sort of thing I would usually go for, but I kind of love it in this electric blue! The pink lace is really cute too, and the material is really soft. I've worn them a couple of times now and they are so comfortable!

I also received these knickers from Creme Bralee lingerie. Initially, I thought that these were miles too big, however I've tried them on and they're actually really comfy, if a little baggy. They might shrink in the wash! The embroidery is super pretty, and at $14 each, these are some snazzy underpants!

The final item in this month's box was this super cute pair of undies from Honeydew. These are pretty skimpy but they've got some super cute detailing on them, and they feel like they'll be really comfy to wear. These also retail for $14 each.

The overall value of the box comes to nearly $100, which is amazing! I am completely over the moon with this box and I'm definitely going to stay subscribed. If I had a bit more cash I'd be tempted to try out their beauty box as well, but I'm off to Corfu next week so I need to save all of my money for duty free!
